You may now pay your property taxes directly from our “Property Search” screen. Your secure payment will connect to our credit card vendor, Point & Pay, LLC. The Hill County Tax Office has an agreement with Point & Pay, LLC to provide taxpayers with automated online credit card payment services. Point & Pay will charge you a convenience fee for this service, which you will be prompted to acknowledge before you complete your property tax payment. The Hill County Tax Office does not receive any portion of the convenience fee.
Online credit card payments will not be reflected immediately on the hilltax.org website. Property tax payments made online generally take three to five business days to process. The date of your online payment will, however be reflected as the date of your payment on your receipt.
To access the new online system, please click on “Property Search” under the Online Services menu. Search by Owner Name, Account Number, Property Address, or DBA. Your search will render a list, click on “View Details” at the far right to open the property account information, then you may click on the “Pay Taxes” tab at the top left of your screen.
You can then select the tax year(s) you would like to pay. The total amount due will appear in the payment box. You may change this amount to make a partial payment by typing a new amount in the box. When the amount you want to pay is correct in the box, click proceed to payment cart. Fill in the appropriate information to process your payment. You will receive a confirmation at the end of the transaction.
